Cafe Moeru is known for its hand-ground coffee, which fills the air with a rich, aromatic scent that beckons you to indulge. The café also offers delectable donburi, creating a perfect balance for anyone looking to satisfy their taste buds during a leisurely lunch.

What sets Cafe Moeru apart is not just the scrumptious food and drink choices but the exceptional hospitality that envelops you the moment you walk through the door. Regulars and newcomers alike enjoy the little extras, such as borrowing toboggans for fun at the nearby slopes—no strings attached!

This café truly embodies the essence of community and warmth, as Syed Hafez and others have noted the kindness of the owners, who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience for every visitor. After a long day of exploring Sapporo, a hot cup of cocoa, warmly served as described by Anson Kan, is just what you need to thaw out from the chilly weather.

i don't normally leave reviews, but.. walked in for some coffee, not being able to speak much japanese so a little scared, but the shop owner and a few very friendly elderly obaa-chans welcomed me in and treated me like family. it sounds absurd, but they are extremely kind. the coffee was very fragrant too. will definitely visit once im back in Sapporo.

Food was great, hospitality was even more top notch. You can borrow the tobaggans to go down the slopes in the park from this couple who owns this cafe. No obligations, but do try to great donburi, takoyaki and hand ground coffee!

Lovely place owned and operated by a lovely elderly couple. They let you borrow their sleds for free and with no obligations. Lovely garden table and bench outside, bartop inside and further inside there's a nice warm area with sofas and coffee table you can eat and escape from the weather. Takoyaki was excellent and hand ground coffee was good too. They will tell you the bus schedules, alternative bus options to Odori and will alert you when the next bus will be arriving. Highly recommended!

Best takoyaki ever. We stopped by for a quick lunch while waiting for the bus. The elderly couple were extremely friendly.

The owners were super nice! I was so glad that I found this cafe because gave me a break while I was walking in a snow storm for 10min to the glass pyramid. And its hot cocoa saved my life haha I was there in Feb, just thought I should write them a good review. Would surely visit the place again if I’m in Hokkaido again

The chef’s recommended coffee and takoyaki combo were excellent. The owner’s vinyl and vintage collection make for a relaxing and cozy ambiance. A true refuge on a cold snowy day. Cherry on top was the owners who were friendly and so personable, we immediately felt welcome. Definitely worth a visit on its own.
